Apartment internet/wifi help?
Hello i just moved into a apartment and they have free wifi but the speeds arent very good so i was wondering since they have free wifi would i be able to connect a router into the wal andl use the internet that way? Or is there a wireless router that i can buy to get the wifi signal and but have it stronger in my apartment?

You could connect a wifi access point (not a router) into the wall if you have a working ethernet connection. You can check this by simply connecting a laptop with an ethernet cable direct to the wall.
You could also use a wifi booster to improve the signal but this tends to be at the expense of slower speeds

If the signal is strong enough to work I doubt if you can speed your connection up. Whichever ISP they use is what controls the speed and if all of the apartments use the same thing that could be part of the slowing down. Check with a couple of your neighbors in other apartments in that complex and see how theirs work.
