Did anyone bother to explain to Jessica Chastain that she wasn't the main character in the Martian?

Update:

Recently she claimed that being paid less than Matt Damon for the job was a sign of sexism in Hollywood. I'm just wondering if she expects the two scenes that she was in [and didn't say anything during] deserve 20 million dollars?

Update 2:

Of course I'm sympathetic to the cause, but is this a genuine case or a sign of something else?

Source? Goodle didn't turn anything up. Not that I'm surprised. MRAs are all liars.

No, she never said any such thing - watch the actual interview, she never once compares her salary to Damon's, nor makes any complaint regarding such. All she mentioned was that there is so much misinformation spread to the public about what actors and actresses earn - and then cited the the earnings she reportedly made for the Martian as an example. That's literally all she said on the matter. Didn't mention Matt Damon. Didn't complain about getting paid less than him.

Do not listen to what the "news" tells you - go to the source

She took her eight figure paycheck to her Malibu home, and is probably getting a facial right now, and NOT giving a **** what you think.
