How do I clone XP professional to an external source?
What I need is a working copy of XP so that I can insert the HDD into another system. We have 4 PC's that are not working with their OS either slow or not working. I am looking at cloning the working PC onto the other PC's hard drives is this possible and how thanks for your help.

Hi there Nik,
You can't really do that. You need to reinstall OS on each of the computers.
In case the issue persists, then there is something wrong with the hardware of the given computer.
You can do several things like:
- Use some brand specific(or a third party one) HDD testing tool that will provide a S.M.A.R.T. report. This will show you whether the HDD is in a healthy condition.
- Use some software tool to test your RAM.
- Measure the temps. In case the temps are high, you can clean the dust out.

You cant.
You have to install XP to get the correct drivers and registry entries.
