How to set up a search engine for files only on my website?
I have a website, and I uploaded some PDF to the server. Now I need to create a new page and add a search box, so when my visitors type the keywords related to the PDF, a list will populate on the page.
I have no idea how to do this, any help will be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of ways. You need to either have a database to query against, or allow your server to search the directory the pdfs are in, but I don't know if PHP or ASP.net, etc.. can actually search in a PDF as they are not stored in clear text. But most languages can search directory filenames.

Its called Google Custom Search just login here: https://cse.google.co.uk/cse/ and carry on from there (they will give you a search engine code to copy and paste onto your site)
