Hello, I am a High school sophmore, & my GPA is 3.0, & my rank is 277 out of 910, is that good or bad?

Not good in math, are you? The middle of the pack of a class of 910 students would be 455. The top 25% would be above (lower number than) 227. So you are just below the top 25%, but higher than most of your classmates. There are 276 students ranked higher than you.

Don't know about good or bad but the fact that you can't figure out 277/910 as a high school sophomore is pathetic. If you're on a very long stairway with 910 people, one on each step, and you're 277 steps from the top, who will get to the top first, you or the 910th person on the stairs? Is it good or bad to be 277th? 910th?

I wouldn't worry about the ranking. Though 277 out of 910 is pretty good. GPA is average to good. Keep up the good work! don't give up or get frustrated.
