Arrested a year ago. Should I hire a lawyer to look into this.?

One October 31st I was arrested on state charges for theft, property damage, and tampering with property. I was arrested and finger printed that night and never given a ticket. I have never heard of a thing since. I constantly check case net and I called city police department to ensure there was no warrent out for my arrest. In Missouri they have up to 3 years to file a felony charge. I want to go to paramedic school and I am also apply for other jobs. Do you think it is a bad idea to have a lawyer look into this a little deeper? I don't want anything to resurface but also I need to get these things taken care of so I don't worry about it anymore. Is the lawyer a good idea?

You cannot hurry up the system. It sounds like they are backed up. When it is your turn, they will get to you. They have two more years. You are stuck waiting. I have never known anyone in a hurry to be convicted of a felony. You are a first.

Waste of money. If they were going to charge you, they would have.
