Weird Computer Happenstance?

Ok, so something odd happened to me earlier. I usually have a laptop as my main computer, but I had to go to work. So, I went to work and typed in a few questions on google during a time where nothing really was happening after checking my email. Now, here's the weird thing: the search questions that I typed in on the work computer somehow ended up on my laptop (like when you begin to type something and it shows up in purple if you typed it before). I didn't have any flash drives or anything connecting the two computers. How did this happen?
