why is the paranormal section so boring? Are people afraid to tell scary stories?

Paranormal is NOT about "Scary Stories" but rather the attempts to explain events which are STILL not explainable in terms of today's Science.----In Hopes that NEW Scientific discoveries may be made. There is NO "paranormal" as such, only the "natural" we cant explain yet.

Besides , REAL "Paranormal" isn't all that "Scary" ----SCARE is the purview of the HOLLYWOOD variety.

That's funny. I remember it as well. But this category didn't exist in the early 2000's. It showed up for the first time around 2008. And it was never very popular.

The whole of Yahoo Answers is not what it used to be, not just the paranormal section.

The perpetual 'unimprovements' are leading to it's downfall.

i think it's interesting how people who don't even believe in the paranormal often frequent here. that's like going to church and constantly bashing people for believing in what others believe in because it's not what they believe in. all they do is write mean comments and call others idiots because they haven't experienced anything for themselves.

It is because of the same little gang of trolls and their little helpers that this place is going down hill. Two of them are busy with their abuse, on the FU thread right now. Not happy unless they are giving someone a hard time.

There is no point in telling people because they refuse to believe if i do tell them.

But then or the other hand i' am glad that they don't listen to me because i just tell people about my experience in order to get it off my chest.

Probably because most of the realized it is all bogus. It is sad in that there are fewer and fewer postings to laugh at.
