It completely depends on the context. Why are you staying home all the time?

If you are medically unable to leave the house without assistance, you are housebound. If you are required to remain in your home by legal order, you are under 'house arrest', or today's PC phrase. 'home confinement'. If you stay home because you fear going out, you have agoraphobia and you are agoraphobic. And if you choose to stay home for whatever reason, the term depends on the reason. If you like being alone, 'recluse' would apply. If you don't like people, you would be a misanthropic recluse. The word 'hermit' is sometimes used, but scholars restrict its usage to the religious person seeking solitude.

So, it all depends on the context. Why is the person staying home?
