How can I make my screen not turn black after a few minutes of inactivity on Windows 7?

    Hit Control Panel - Power Options and select when you want your display to turn off.

    Right-click the Windows desktop, and then click Properties.

    Click the Screen Saver tab, and then type the appropriate number of minutes in the Wait box. (You must have a screen saver selected.)

    Click Apply.

    Check your power settings in control panel.
