Employer threatening to sue because of work related stress and for equipment I purchased myself?

Update:

I was working for an employer who had me sign an agreement/contract that I would not work for another type of business for 3 years and the training I would receive would equal out to $3,000 and I was to break the contract I would owe her the money. I was orignally paid hourly but then switched to commission, with working 10 to 12 hour days with only a 25 to 30 minute break.

Just say "see you in court " . remember it cost the employee money to sue you. From what I can tell of your story the employee would only be ale to sue for three thousand dollars. That would be a judge Judy kind of small claims court. Rarely does a non-compete agreement stand up in court (one exception would be talent like a news anchor or radio DJ) threats of lawsuits are a weaklings last grasp. Just say see ya in court. If you get a summons the case will be in six months. Seek legal aid to defend yourself.
