how do i get a shortcut folder out of a certain folder?

I accidentally moved my main downloads folder into my music downloads folder. how do i get it out?

my music folder is open and it also has the downloads folder in it. i drag and dropped the download folder back to where it usually is but after i deleted the copy in the music folder, the downloads folder wouldnt open anymore. so i restored the folder from the recycle bin, but how do i get it out of the music folder?

i tried adding a picture but i guess yahoo is having some issues. i hope i described enough and someone can help

    Based on your experience and notes, I would try to remove it from the command line since it's behaving like a special folder and not a regular shortcut.

    The exact location, thus steps to take, vary depending on the version of Windows and some installation options.

    You would basically run "cmd" and from it "cd toTheRightMusicDirectory" and finally "del downloads" as it would be a special file instead of a folder.
