5 yr old son had only 1 seizure in last august, should we stop giving VALPARIN 200?

Update:

5 yr old son got 1st & last seizure in august 2015, we started medicine after meeting 3-4 doctors after 5 days of seizure, there was something was not right in EEG REPORT, it is now over 2 months and he is very much active, fine.intelligent and there is no change in actions or behaviour, he resist taking medicine and say I am fine. NOW MY QUESTION WHAT WILL BE THE CAUTION WE NEED TO TAKE , WILL IT BE OK TO STOP GIVING HIM VALPARIN 200, the dose we use to give was 2 ml twice a day.

    This is not something you should be asking strangers on the internet! Only his doctor can give you advice on this. And no 5 year old should be telling his parents whether he should take some medication or not.

    Make an appointment with his doctor and talk to him/her about this.

    No. Most doctors recommend TWO years fully seizure free. Please contact his physician before deciding to stop his medication.
