Horse gets jealous of other horses?

So I have a barrel mare whom is a great horse, I love her to death, and don't plan on selling for a long long time. One weekend at a rodeo I tried this other horse her get her some exercise along with my horse, and my horse got very jealous of the horse I rode. She was being a brat and didn't preform good. But in a couple years I want to get prospect to train, not sure how I can do that with her acting like this with other horses? Any tips?

They do. My horse would give me the evil eye whenever I took out another horse. He would even try to bite them as they walked past and he is usually so nice to them. I just make sure to give your "main" horse lots of attention so that they don't feel as jealous.

She needs training now as you her Master. Full attention or you'll have these issues, had she been socialized from birth she'd not be acting this way.
