I need help identifying a rock!?
I need help Identifying this rock. I was out exploring in the mesa near my house in Albuquerque New Mexico a few miles away from the three sister volcanos and I found this rock. It's all around red. The outside of the rock is hard-ish and the inside is very smooth. Do you know the name of this rock? Also if you know is the other rock in the picture petrified wood? Thanks!

Squinting at the small pics, I think you have picked up some chalcedony- jasper on the right, and the rock on the left could be petrified wood, if it is you should be able to find wood-grain texture.
