Can someone build up an immunity to a antidepressant?

Update:

I am on Duloxctine Xl Caps 60 mg 1 capsule daily. I have been on them for years. My doctor uses it for pain my legs and back but also for depression. I have had a lot of things going on in my life, a few deaths of family members, my disabilities, husbands illness (he is better) ad I am so bored without a job. I have been feeling really low again and don't know what to do. My doctor seems to ignore what I tell her. I am just wondering if these meds are losing there effectiveness.

Update 2:

Cymbalta is another name for the drug.

Either get a job, or volunteer your time.

You need a pilot at the wheel, it sounds like. You have gone through a period where you felt picked on, and you are doing "nothing" because you are waiting for the next shoe to drop. That is no way to live. Steer towards involvement, towards fun, towards community.
