Feeling discouraged, my advisor just told me to reconsider being a PA and thats one of my dreams?

If it's your dream, don't get discouraged based on what your advisor said. In fact, take that as a challenge that you have to work harder. Like being a regular doctor, a Physician's Assistant should have the goal of helping others, not taking the easiest way to a secure or well-paying career. Have that attitude, be willing to work hard, and the rest will follow.
