Real sex slavery has not gone anywhere. It is still here, and it is a lucrative business. It is called human trafficking.
Fantasy sex slavery also has not gone anywhere, but it is not that big of a business because many amateurs give it away for free.

It's called the world's oldest profession for a reason. It would be a shame, though, to think about slavery returning to humanity. It took a long time for us to hold onto the notion of everyone as equal, in fact one could argue we're still not even there yet.
