I find Firefox on Windows 7 Crashes often. It didn't when I had Firefox on Windows XP. Is this Normal for Windows 7?

Google Chrome is best till now, because usually we open multiple tabs while using the browser, sometimes one tab will crash or not respond which leads to close the entire browser and restart the browser again there we lost all the remaining work going on remaining opened tabs, But Chrome runs processes for each tab separately so that one tab crash will not effect the remaining the tabs. Google Chrome takes advantage of these properties and puts web apps and plug-ins in separate processes from the browser itself. This means that a rendering engine crash in one web app won’t affect the browser or other web apps. It means the OS can run web apps in parallel to increase their responsiveness, and it means the browser itself won’t lock up if a particular web app or plug-in stops responding. It also means we can run the rendering engine processes in a restrictive sandbox that helps limit the damage if an exploit does occur. Basically, each tab has one process unless the tabs are from the same domain. The renderer has a process for itself. Each plug-in will have one and so will each extension that is active.

I had that problem, too. But after I updated flash, firefox, gaphics card and windows the problem was solved. But also, add-ons can cause problems, check their compatibility.

No. It is normally for the current version(s) of FF. Unfortunately this one great browser has had some serious issues over the last few years.
