Because they have no morality. They are projecting. They cannot be good and assume that everyone is the same. Their own religions are all perverted and don't teach morality. Look at all the savage murders still being committed in especially abrahamic religions names today. Look at the evil the bible torah and quran preach against women, children, slaves which they allow, non believers, lgbt, apostates and so on. There is a direct link between all of their false texts and the evil still committed today. Religion is the opposite of morality.

And the brainwashed religious right wingers don't understand basic history. Communism had nothing to do with atheism. Atheism is not a religion or ideology. It is simply the lack of belief in a god. That is all atheists have in common. The communists did what they did over power, statism where they worshipped the state. It had nothing to do with atheism. Stalin btw was training to be a priest. Could he have that kind of power through the church he'd have stuck with it.

The burden of proof lies on the one making extravagant claims. If a religiotard can't prove it, they should shut up. What is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence and while not all religious people are evil it is religion which can make an otherwise person become pure evil to be a TRUE believer.

Fundamentalists are all true believers. Apologists in religions act like fundamentalism is a bad thing, well its not according to religion. You either follow the fundamentals of your religion which is what lunatics who bomb abortion clincs or groups like al qaida do or you are an ignorant apologist who left your religion long ago and are now too emotionally and intellectually weak to part with a title or identity while projecting your own moral failures onto atheists over which according to countless studies have higher iqs and levels of education.

Thats interesting. How almost no scientists or drs are religious and most are atheists, agnostic, pantheist, deists at most and how the most religious have the lowest iqs, lowest levels of education. How in the more religious a country, the more rape, child abuse, divorce, adultery, wife and woman abuse and lack of womens rights, lack of scientific progress, lack of free speech and expression, homophobia, lower life expectation, lack of medical resources and the list of misery goes on.

How would you know what religious people think and are you cramming all religions into the same basket, then throw in the atheists. Education and up bringing are also major players in a person moral compass, other than religion.

We religious people say that about atheists only because it is true. They're selfish people, they put their faith in their science books, and the rhetoric of losers like Christopher Hitchens and Bill Nye. Atheists are in for a real rude awakening, they are in need of a major reality check in their lives.
