FTP is a file transfer protocol that can indeed be used in your browser, but I'm not sure where WordPress comes into play here.
Of course there are probably FTP plugins for WordPress if that's what you want.
To connect to FTP from within a browser: ftp://YourFtpUser:YourFtpUserPassword@yourdomain.com

You're mixing things up quite bad here. FTP is a protocol for file transfer (hence the name), while Chrome (assuming it's Google Chrome) is a web browser (and web browsers do have limited FTP capabilities - to grab content rather than send content) and WordPress is a CMS (content management system) you install on your web host to create a website or a blog.
