My reasoning for all of them is the same: I just think these sound better than the other options. The other options are cute still, I just think the others sound a little nicer.

Charlie, Beth, Becca, Jess, Missy, Katie, Tori, Kenzie, Izzie, Alex

1. Charlotte: Charlie-Lola sounds too old-ladyish.

2. Elizabeth: Beth-I knew a girl who was called Lizzie and she has been in a lot of trouble all her life. Also, there was a Lizzie in a famous case who murdered her parents.

3. Rebecca: Becca-Becky sounds very 1970's.

4. Jessica: Jessie-Jess sounds very masculine to me.

5. Melissa: Missy-Lish sounds made up.

6. Katherine: Katie-Kathy sounds very 1960's.

7. Victoria: Tori-With the nickname Vicky, it lends itself to the Icky Vicky teasing.

8. Mackenzie: Kenzie-Mackie sounds very masculine.

9: Isabella: Izzie-I am tired of the name Bella.

10. Alexandra: Lexie-I just think Lexie sounds prettier.

Charlie. It sounds cool.

Beth. I like both of these nicknames, so I just picked Beth. :)

Becca. It's pretty.

Jess. I like both though!

Missy. It sounds better than Lish.

Katie. I just like this nickname!

Tori. Once again, I just like this nickname!

Bella. It's pretty.

Alex. It sounds cool and smart.

1. Charlotte: Charlie vs. Lola

I like both but Charlie is just cute and adorable.

2. Elizabeth: Beth vs. Lizzie

I feel like Lizzie for when the girl is a little kid and Beth for her teen years and beyond.

3. Rebecca: Becky vs. Becca

Becca, because becky to me sounds like the cliche popular girl that is mean and no one actually likes

4. Jessica: Jess vs. Jessie

Jess for sure. It has style and flow.

5. Melissa: Missy vs. Lish

Neither. I would go with M. or Issa.

6. Katherine: Kathy vs. Katie

Again, neither. It's just unappealing. I would go with Kat.

7. Victoria: Vicky vs. Tori

Vicky is too easy to make fun of, I'd go with Tori.

8. Mackenzie: Macky vs. Kenzie

Kenzie for sure, Macky doesn't sound right.

9: Isabella: Izzie vs. Bella

Neither. Bella is too twilight and Izzie is too baby girl-ish. I'd go Isa or Ella.

10. Alexandra: Alex vs. Lexie

Alex, I know a few Lexie's and, no...just no. Or I would even do Lex. Maybe even Ali.
