    Don't! Never buy a pet as a gift!

    If he wants a puppy that should be his decision, you may offer to pay for it.

    Take it back. In the end it will the innocent pup that will suffer the most due to not being wanted/neglected.

    I'm a vet tech and there is no right or wrong answer to this question as far and dog food goes.... But my advice to you...is anything but ole roy! It bad for there heart and thyroid!
