What would you do? I need advice?
My older half brother (i found him 7 years ago) the last time we seen him was almost 7 years ago. Anyways he moved back to WA and his life is ****.
He has nothing going for himself. Doesnt have a relationship with our family or dad. In fact I only hear from him on facebook when hes druck or in a bind.
He messaged my mom (his step mom) a few days ago saying he might be going to jail or prison for 1-3 years cause he had sex with a minor who lied about her age. Her parents are pressing charges.
He told my mom not to tell me my sister or our dad. And that he'll maybe tell us when he gets out in a few years. Next month is his sentencing.
It kinda hurts my feelings that he rather disapear for a few years without telling us. His older sister in WA knows about everything.
Should I randomly message him about it or wait?

I would wait. He'll feel better once he's out of jail/prison and that's when you talk to him. Once that point comes, tell him not to do the things that he has done earlier in his life. It'll just end him up in jail/prison again.

I can't help but wonder why you need our advice. Are you afraid to do it? If that's so, don't do it. There are much scarier things you'll have to make a decision about in the future.
