Cheap Hoverboards?
Hey there,
So I'm thinking about getting a hoverboard right now.. one of those 2 wheel segway things, and in doing some research to buy i came across several on ebay for astonishingly low prices.. the going rate seems to be about $250-$450 however there are several listings on ebay for the product for only $80-$110. Now these are coming from china and some of the listings note that the buyer will be responsible for any import duties etc. depending on the country you are in. So I was wondering, has anybody from the United States, perhaps even more specifically California, purchased one of these cheaper boards? If so was there any hassle with the import, duty, any type of crazy charge, and most importantly was the product still of good quality?

Buy from USA suppliers. I just bought mine from cheaphoverboards.net. I saw their ad on craigslist. Definitely glad I bought this. Ive used for so many different thiings: walking/exercising my dog, mowing the lawn, running errands, going to my friends house 15 blocks away instead of driving.

Import and tax will be charged which you have to pay before you receive it and will work out as expensive as purchasing in your own country, also if there is any issues with it, you will have to return it and/or deal with the Chinese seller........ not known for resolving issues, you are also not supporting your own economy but the Chinese economy
