Windows 10 v 7?

Update:

Hey guys I'm just wondering whether I should upgrade ( for all I know downgrade ) from windows 7 to windows 10, you may think "WHAT AN IDIOT JUST GOOGLE IT", well if I just google it the pages that come up could just be sponsored, so I'm wondering as a developer and heavy video watcher whether I should upgrade, please from experience not just rumors :)

    10 is better than 7 and free. Check with your PC manufacturer to make your model is compatible and also make sure all your software is compatible. If everything checks out then backup your current hard drive by cloning it to an external hard drive then do the upgrade. If everything goes well then you won't need the backup but if something fails then you can easily restore your PC to its previous state.
