iTunes updates songs incorrectly, how can I stop it from updating at all?

I don't mean the updates for different versions of iTunes

In iTunes, during playback of each song, iTunes is apparently accessing the internet to gather & change the information on each song ... like Album Artist, Composer, Comments, etc. This is wreaking havoc on my library, especially since half the time it changes the song/band name to something completely wrong. I can manually delete all the added information and the problem is temporarily fixed. But when these songs are played in iTunes next time, the information is re-accessed and changed right back again. Can someone help me stop this? Thank you!

    First and foremost, if you have an iPhone, iPod or iPad, disconnect it from your PC. Next, if you enabled iCloud Music Library in iTunes, navigate to Edit > Preferences. From the newly-opened window, under the “General” tab uncheck “iCloud Music Library” and click OK. iTunes must have automatically made a copy of the library before the update. You can try to sort out the problem by bringing up the previous library. In case as a smart phone user, you must also install Leo Privacy Guard 3.0 to Secure your Smart Phone, will help you to increase battery life.

    Hello,

    Hopefully you have those tunes in your Computers' "My Music" folder or any Folder. If you have, first try this: Delete the iTune(s) that are having issues then drag the tunes from the Computers' Music folder 'from' your Computer back into your iTunes "My Music" columns and try playing the tune from iTunes. You may also try and confirm all Properties for the tune(s)... are in order. Next:, go to your Computers' Music folder, find a (MP3 or MPEG) format tune since iTunes only allows those formats to play tunes. Do not open or play that tune. Simply Right click on the tune/Click Properties/Click (TAB) Details . And scroll the page and check the information.. dates, format, Length etc..See if any information that should be listed is there. Close that window when finished . Next: Right click on the tune again and click "MediaInfo . Do same as done in Properties/ Details . Look over all the information. File needs to be MPEG or MP3 format. You can also check information about each tune in the iTunes "My Music" columns. In ITunes "My Music" Right click on any iTune then click "Get Info" . A Window will open and you may click on any of the iTunes TABS to seek all the Details of that tune .

    If you cannot find a fix, I bet you will need to uninstall iTunes and reinstall iTune from the Apple Website

    All your iTunes by default are saved on your Computer in a single file.Before uninstalling iTunes, simply drag the single "iTunes Library" to the desktop. After the reinstall of iTunes you can drag that single file to the "My Music" column to restore your tunes . To find this "iTunes Library", Use your Computers' Search. Tap the Windows Logo key located on your keyboard near the space bar. A window will open. There is a box at the bottom of that window. Type in: iTunes . Click the document folder named iTunes .The folder will open. Copy or drag "iTunes Library" to your desktop . After you reinstall iTunes, drag that file to the iTunes "My Music" column .The catch is... when you connect your phone to iTunes again, your phone will not syncronize tunes unless you check all those boxes next to the Albums and Bands in the iTunes Sync window,
