Do I have ADHD?
Here are some things that I do or experience very frequently:
-I often walk in circles around a room thinking about pointless things
-I constantly shake my right leg when i'm sitting. I simply can't stand still.
-I sometimes have a hard time concentrating on conversations and simple activities
-I'm sometimes very impulsive, for example: I sometimes say things that are kind of socially awkward. NOT EVERYTIME, but sometimes
-I daydream a lot when i'm alone and walking outside. I often daydream about videogame ideas, story ideas for a book or something like that, distracting me from the real world.
-I forget things often, like charging my phone and... I simply can't remember the other things that I forget to do lol.
-I'm a SLOW thinker
-I'm impatient about a lot of things
-I'm a procrastinator
-I sometimes answer a question in a conversation incorrectly. For example:
Friend: Did you watch that awesome movie last night?
Me: Oh yes! I did listen to that song.
Friend: ...
*awkward*
-I sometimes make mistakes while solving math problems. For example:
Me (thinking): "hm, that's easy. 7 times 7 is 56.
*3 minutes later*
Oh wait, it equals 49, I forgot. Riiiiight."
And i'm good at math (not trying to brag or somethin), but sometimes I simply can't concentrate on the math problem
-I sometimes forget what I want to say and have trouble explaining things. P.S: I'm 16 :P

you sound like me when i was 16 and i was not diagnosed with adhd. right now your brain is going through some heavy development and you have lots of hormones doing their job in your body. It would not be a good idea to get onto adhd medication, i have no idea why some parents put their kids on medication as young as 9 years old. its pretty rediculous.
If i were you i would just do my best in school. Therapy may be a useful tool to help you understand what the root of the problem is . For example, i had adhd liek symptoms but it turned out it was just mild depression. It can be confusing sometimes which is why a professional is very helpful in these situations.
Just remember alot of adhd medications (i think all of them) come from the same salt family as methamphetamine. so when you take them it will be similar to you taking cocaine or meth.
i would not take it unless i REALLY needed it.
also, ahdhd medications can be very addictive and msot people i know who took those meds ended up with greyish./yellowish teeth and lots of dental issues. later down the road they developed worse mental conditions because adhd meds flood your brain with dopamine which is in charge of movement, and a stable mind.
if you are mis diagnosed with adhd and you take adhd meds you can develop schizophrenia or mess up your brain.
just be careful. wait until you are 18. its only two more years.
by then your brain should be nearly done developing .
