You must not be either so tall or so short the production made uniforms can't fit you.
In the Air force a Pilot has even more size restrictions because they can require a custom fitted cockpit in a multi-million dollar jet.
But that only applies to pilots.

Not sure but the many short slender Soldiers in Vietnam got voluntold for Tunnel Rat Duty......

You can join as long as you are not classed as a dwarf, due to joint issues they generally suffer, however tall wise, giantism is not a bar.
