How can people like Trump and Carson run on ideas that hurt us like "Americans make too much money" and still be taken seriously?

    Because they appeal to stupid gullible people. Like Liberal Fascist over there. He's in the top 2% stupid on here at best. He's never posted something true. Not even once. Trump and Carson are both a joke and the people the support them are proof that Idiocracy was really a documentary from the future.
