Are people really this out of touch with technology or are some of these questions just trolls doing what trolls do?

    Its a mixture of both probably. Some people are just not tech savy while others are just bored and want to try to get a rise out of people. Its usually easy to distinguish between the two.

    Trolls, morons and psychotics are the major demographic around here. Not sure what the biggest segment is, but I do think normal, intelligent people are definitely the minority here.
