Did I break something?
For a REALLY long time now I've been having back pain. Everyone really just blows it off saying 'oh it's just period cramps'
But I've had this pain even before I started. It's been driving be crazy what could hurt that bad. I had a cat scan and X-Rays done but they said I'm healthy. The pain gets do bad sometimes I get dizzy and a few times almost passed out.
My dad recently went to the doctor's with back pain as well and an X-Ray revealed he had BROKEN his back. Actually fractured his spine and didn't know. According to the tests, his back had been broken for almost 10 years and nobody knew.
With my pain, is it possible I had something similar? Could it be possible or maybe other reasons as to why it hurts so bad?

How would your back be broken when you've had an X-ray? You could ask for an mri but usually doctors only send you for an mri if they already know something is wrong. The cat scan and X-ray confirmed there's nothing wrong. My back is really messed up I survive on pain killers and muscle relaxers. When I first went to the doctor I said my lower back hurt and my legs all the way down to my toes would lose feeling randomly. I was refered to a physical therapist and had to get an mri done. I now get steroid shots in my back but my back isn't strong so it's extremely painful. As for your dad it's possible to break a bone and not know it. Pain makes your blood pressure rise which can make you dizzy and faint. Back pain is something almost everyone faces at some point in their life. The only thing I can think of that's causing is if you're out of shape or have a sedentary lifestyle. Staying active helps my back so much but when I sit around and do nothing the pain comes back even worse.

sounds more like muscle spasms. if your spine was affected it would have shown in X Ray. maybe see a sports dr.
