What do you make of Anthony Stokes being back in the Celtic team?

About time. It's ridiculous from a playing point of view that Ciftci is ahead of him in the pecking order. I'm not saying Stokes is a world beater but he'd have scored and contributed more to the team than Ciftco has.

As for his position at the club, I think if Ronny stays, he'll be looking to punt Stokes and I doubt the board would mind either, from a PR perspective. I think his attitude and behaviour must be the problem or was. I'd doubt his performance has deteriorated so much, as to only be played in 3 games this season, when he played in 38 last season.

Anthony Stokes was a great striker for Hibs, but even the Hibs fans at times felt he looked like he was pulling a cart at times and was lazy and slow.

Anyone that was regarded as lazy and slow at Hibernian, should never be in the Celtic starting line-up

As long as it's a strikers role and not the wide left I'm quite happy ,Ciftci s a strange one doesn't seem to figure just another example as Sutton said of 18 below /average players we've signed.................to many managers come in and sell players they don't like ,Mc Manus - Zuraski who wasn't great either ,even not counting big money sales Wanyama - Forster - VVD the scouting systems rank ,Ciftci had baggage before he came but we shipped out Scepovic who looked better in similar game time than Ciftci ever will

So sorry to say but Celtic have become an elephants graveyard, come and ronnie will finish your career,,,Play you off position and leave your career on a bench...So many stars burned bright until he got his hands on them...
