Should i keep my 2006 mustang gt or trade it for a subaru impreza wrx?

I do parking lot slaloms (with my MazdaSpeed3) and there is intense competition in classes with WRX's and STi'S. For winter I recently bought a 2008 Outback with 150,000 miles on it that still looked like new. It may not have the straight line performance of a turbo, but it handles great. I had not owned a Subaru since the 1980's (I put 138,000 miles on a 1983 4-spd 4WD GL wagon in 4 years with no major issues).

When someone asked how long STi's last I did a quick web search and found some used WRX or STi's with 185,000 to 207,000 miles on them.

stop buying alternators from auto zone or advance auto parts they are junk they only last about 3 mouths.I am a master auto tech. and i stop using them a long time ago because it is stupid they are lifetime warranty but only 1 free replacement so after 6 months when the 2 one gos bad your screwed.Just buy a bosh alternator pay a little more and it will last 10 years.I learned this a long time ago.Also a subaru is by far a better car than any ford plus the subaru is all wheel drive its a no brainer

the more powerful boxer engines like the 2.0 and 2.5 have some problems with blowing head gaskets, but there are always upgrades, and if you don't treat her right, the turbo is likely to go out (just takes a cheapish rebuild kit) but everyone is aware that subarus are well known for reliablity, and overall purely fun driving experience, I would absolutly recommend a WRX or STI

05-09 series is the shittest. Anything different is better man

If you are need that many hew alternators they are either a rubbish recon or you are fitting them wrongly.

An alternator should last 10 years unless you are driving heavily off road.
