Pros - It's not some made up tacky teen mom name. It is a pretty vintage name which sounds nice and isn't too common. Its uncommon but not unheard of which is good.

Cons - Its a bit girly-girly, if you have a tomboy daughter she will likely hate her name. It does have the relation to Rome and Juliet as well which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it, since some people consider Romeo and Juliet one of the most romantic stories of all time. I guess it just depends what kind of person you want your kid to be, since you're giving them such a romantic, girly, melodic name.

I adore the name Juliet. It's my favorite girl name out there.

PROS: Very unique, melodic-sounding and lovely. Quite pretty in my opinion.

CONS: Some people might misspell it, and it's a bit literary-connected but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

The only con I could think of is maybe in JR/High school, she may be asked where is Romeo?

Juliet is very pretty, it's an matter of taste. I would use Julia over Juliet or Julie or Juliana. There nothing wrong with the name
