"What would the world be like today if hitler succeeded with his plans to take over the world?"

Hitler had no such plans, ever. He wanted revolution in Germany (pure of Communism and what he saw as weakness in government) and A New World Order with 'Germania' at it's centre.. neither translates into actual world domination and occupation.

Hitler believed the British and Germany were destined to rule the world together in this New World Order, he didn't want Britain defeated, heck he didn't even want a war against Britain... thus his peace offers after the fall of France.

Operation Barbarossa called for the defeat of Moscow [Operation Typhoon] then an advance to the Urals [no farther] kicking the Communists out of Europe.

He knew Germany couldn't occupy even just Russia never mind the whole world.

Picture The Cold War with the west vs the Russian bear... the world with ISIS in it... that's what the world would have been like in this New World Order. It's not like there would have been NAZIs on every American street corner.

Always a fascinating question. Hitler wasn't dealing with a full deck - but he did do pretty well there for a while.

Say the Nazis would have gotten the atomic bomb........ and then game over. They would have threatened America.

HOWEVER.... you realize that the Russians got the atomic bomb and they threatened America for the next 50 years. So perhaps we would have just gone into a Cold War with Nazi Germany much like the Cold War we had with the Soviet Union.

Germany is a much more civilized place than Russia....... they might have been better enemies to have in the long run than Russia.

Hitler would have shortly died - he had Parkinson's Syndrome - and finally one of his guys might have killed him. there were 27 different attempts on Der Fuhrer's life during the war according to John Toland ("Adolf Hitler").

so we would have become enemies with less and less fanatical Nazis as the years rolled by. So perhaps a Cold War between German and America would have matured into cooperation.

As I say........ ALWAYS such an interesting question.

A good visualization would be that of the TV series 'The Man in the High Castle'. Its also a book.

Back to the point, the world would be a different place with common problems like racism and religion being the main focus points. Sure there would be many advancements, the definition of the word freedom would be different. Just my Opinion.

Most of us would not be here because Hitler only wanted the perfect race that had blonde hair an blue eyes.

he didn't want to take over the world. he wanted to conquer all lands with a german minority in europe. that got him stuck in a huge war between england france and russia until he lost. if he won, europe would be very nationalistic today..
