My dog ate a raisin!!!!!! HELP!?
Ok so I was eating a cinnamon raisin bagel and I dropped a piece, a minute or two later, he went back and started to eat it...It was just one raisin, and I don't think he ate the whole thing. It's been about 30 minutes and i'm pretty sure he's fine...He's about 3 years old. We think he's a mix between a Jack Russell and a Dachshund. Please help! This is my first dog and I don't want him to die! :(

It is known that raisins can be somewhat dangerous or poisonous for dogs. However, if it was only 1 raisin, I'm sure he'll be fine! I also have a Jack Russell and he means the world to me, I would probably react the exact same, but I think it would only be harmful if it were more than 1. And these things are only a 'maybe'. It doesn't mean that everything that's been mentioned is going to be harmful to all dogs.So i wouldn't worry, if he's fine after half an hour then I don't think it's done anything. Obviously if you notice any unusual signs take him straight to the vet. Other than that don't worry, these things happen!
P.s. Other things to watch out for for dogs are; onions, chocolate, mushrooms, grapes & nuts. :)

One raisin.
Are you kidding me.
First of all, dogs can eat raisins. HE IS NOT GOING TO DIE. A dog like that can even eat 2 squares of chocolate and not feel a thing. Half a raisin will not do anything to him. Lol.
You made my day.

If he just ate one raisin he won't die. He probably won't even get sick but keep paying attention to him to make sure he's fine.

Only one raisin shouldn't kill your dog. Just be sure not to feed any more to him.

Call poison control/vet immediately which is what you should have done within two hours of when the raisin was ingested.

One raisin won't kill any dog.
Matter of fact it won't even make it sick or anything.
