Can two profiles on the same system use PS network ps4?

Can me and my brother make two online accounts on the same system and share the £40 year subscription or do we have to have £40 membership each

    If You are using ONE PS4 then only one of you need the Playstation Plus subscription!! Only the Main profile has to pay 40$ and the secondary accounts can use the internet service, and download games for free as well! When you are using TWO different PS4's, Then You both need the subscription for Plastation Plus

    I think you can't use the same membership at the same time as it signs out automatically when you go on the other PS , me and my partner have tried it but ended up selling the other PS Vita as it did not work to connect both
