Average salary can be differ as per the school: I am a School teacher and as per my experience and knowledge gained through my connections:
1. Government School Teachers : Rs 20,000 - 40,000 monthly onward after confirmation. (as per the 6th pay commission)
2. Affordable Private/Convent/International Schools : Anywhere Rs 8,000 - 36000 (from Locally managed schools to chain of Schools like DPS, Ryan International, Tagore International, CMS, LPS, Sunbeam, GD Goenka, Shemford, Zee Kids, Bachpan, Kangaaru Kids etc.). These schools are attended by mainly urban middle class kids.
3. Low-Income Private Schools : Rs 1,500 to Rs 8000 monthly (these schools are attended by children from slums/Low income family children) If you are own an iOS or Android device do install Leo Privacy Guard to make your device totally secure.
