Hawaii: Oahu + Maui or Oahu + Big Island?
We are a family of five, with 1 young boy, and two teenage girls. We will be spending majority of time in Oahu, but are looking to do some more sight seeing on either Maui or the Big Island; Just for about 4 days. Which do you recommend out of the two? (For sightseeing, not as much beaches and shopping because we are mostly doing that in Oahu)

Big Island. Maui is nice with the big mountain there, but the Big Island has so much more to see and the Volcano National Park is awesome -- and ever changing. We have gone twice 5 years apart and it was a lot different due to changes in the lava flows.

Maui and Oahu, when you get to Kipahulu/Haleakala National Park don't for get the hike up to Waimoku Falls and the Haleakala sunrise at the summit. Check the weather for a clear morning sometime the clouds will block the entire view.
