How do you find the coefficients of a standard-form quadratic equation, given a point on the coordinate plane?
Both bx and c are being added. Use (2, 7) as the point.

Well, given you said bx and c are being added I'll assume you mean positive coefficients.
a(2)²+b(2)+c = 7 ; such that: b,c > 0
We could pick either b or c to be 1. Substitute:
4a+2+c = 7
This function serves all possible infinite number of solutions for a and b.
For example: f(x) = -1/4x² + x + 4
Of course, there are an infinite number of such quadratics.
