Husbands, which would you prefer?
This question is a bit juvenile, but I haven't asked one in a while so here goes:
My husband's main Christmas gift came in the mail yesterday. I left work early so I could beat him home because he opens any box that comes to the house.
It's a zipper hoodie and it has his favorite football team on it. I know he's going to love it.
Well, the temp dropped today, and he could really use it to wear to work now. Plus I can't stand the anticipation. I'm ready to see his face when he sees it!
So, husbands, would you rather your wife wait and give you a gift on Christmas Day, or do you not care what day it's given on? Would you rather have something now if you could use it now?
Am I the only wife who has a hard time waiting to give her husband his gifts? It's not as difficult waiting to give my daughter her gifts, but I still feel antsy about it.

Give him the jacket now and order him a new , high performance exhaust for his motorcycle for Christmas .
Additionally , be sure to get him the re-mapping software so his bike doesn't run lean . You know , when you hear backfiring on deceleration , that means the management system was not tuned for the new exhaust .
Don't you just hate that ?

If it is the main gift Christmas Day. If it is just one of many usually one on Christmas Eve but that is it. It may be tough to wait but just imagine his joy on Christmas Day not the same any other day. It's like getting a birthday present a week before your actual birthday.

I would give it to him if he really could use it now. You're not kids anymore, what does it matter it's a bit early. He's going to be thrilled regardless of when you give it to him. My husband just gave me one BEAUTIFUL ring & said it is a CHRISTmas gift. It's beautiful, even had to have it sized. It didn't matter to me when he gave it to me...do what you feel is the rite thing to do, I'm SURE he won't mind....best to you...:)

It's OK to give it to him now, but then you'll need to buy him something else for Christmas. You cant just not give him something on Christmas morning

Christmas is when you should give it to him. If he gets is now, it just a gift. Then he will hope you have another on Christmas day.

You need to either 1) wait for Christmas, 2) give it to him now and then give him something else to open on Christmas, or 3) switch to Judaism and give it to him for the 3rd night of Hannukah TONIGHT! Early presents? Mazel tov!!!

That anticipation is what makes the holidays actually fun. Why would you want to ruin that feeling by getting rid of it as soon as possible?
