Is Elder scrolls online still pay-to-play?
Hello, I reallyyyyyy want elder scrolls online and I have two copies of black ops 3 so I m going to trade one for ESO.......If I don t have to pay for a subscription. I know that they were/are going to remove the need for a subscription but have they already? I m playing on the ps4 by the way. Thanks!

You can still subscribe as an option for slightly faster leveling and a few other perks, but no, subscription is no longer necessary to play ESO, only purchase of the game.

Not really, I believe that if you buy Tamriel Unlimited that it will be the same thing but free. The changed it to be a free version because nobody wanted to pay-to-play.
Also, not very many people thought the game was good.
