If we had more drug control laws, would that solve our drug problem in the US?

    You are so right

    Illegal drugs are profitable in the same way that illegal guns are profitable

    Just as I can take a kilo of weed , divide it up into 30 equally sized ounces , sell those ounces and realize a 500% profit

    I can do the same thing if I take a bandsaw to a gun and make a 500% profit

    Nope, we need to legalize drugs and then regulate them. Strict controls like we have now simply feeds the illegal drug trade. Make the drugs available from clinics that help people get off drugs will break the back of the cartels and massively reduce crime.

    I think our drug policies should be similar to those of nations where drugs are doing the least harm.

    I think our firearms policies should be similar to those of nations where firearms are doing the least harm.
