Why are Islamophobes silent about the 70,000 Indian Muslim clerics that denounced ISIS and other terror groups?

They put their fingers in their ears and they turn away and choose not to listen. According to them islamophobes, it doesn't matter what proof we bring to them, they're always right and we're always wrong. 😒😒

The problem is that it doesn't matter how many say ISIS isn't Islamic when ISIS not only believes they are Islamic but they are following in the footsteps of their prophet. How can you say ISIS doesn't follow Islam properly when they act no different from your prophet?

The answer is moderate Muslims - or whatever term you want to call yourself - must modernize Islam. Rewrite the Quran and remove all hateful passages and remove all aspects of Islam that is not directly related to religion - such as the political, social, military and legal.

This is your answer and until you do this, the entire civilized world will be at odds with Islam. If Muslims are unwilling to to fix Islam the West will eventually fix it and as Todd said - if you wait that long, you'll likely be unhappy with the Western solution.

The media generally doesn't report this stuff. Even when Muslims denouncing terrorist actions gets them murdered in revenge by terrorists (I'm thinking of Sheik Albani), no recognition.

While I would commend the Indians for what they did, the fact remains that it was ONLY the Indians and no one else and 70,000 out of 1.5 billion isn't even 1 % - it's less than 0.0005%. So, go figure.

Another group issued another piece of paper in response to a problem. A piece of paper that will do absolutely nothing to solve the problem. If you want to have an impact, then take a page from the citizen groups that have successfully fought the KKK, Neo Nazis, Skin Heads, and other hate groups in the US. These are only a small number of the organizations that perform these types of activities. They are all citizen based, not government based. I see no ACTIVE Moslem organizations, on as large of scale, attempting to do this. Perhaps if there was, and it was showing success, the Moslems wouldn't have the problems that they do. What I do see, is Moslems putting forth conspiracy theories, blaming the "Zionist Media", or denying these events are real.

As far as a Google search on "Muslims Against Terrorism", I find a few sites. none of which shows much activity (which speaks volumes), and none of which performs the functions of the groups I mentioned.

Edit: Simply, it is ignored because it has no meaning or effect. The rest of the world see it and thinks "Oh, another meaningless paper that will do nothing to prevent another attack".

If you don't clean up your own problems, then others are going to do it for you- and probably in a way you won't like.

The big problem seems to be that many of us never hear about them. It's selective reporting. And, honestly, 70,000 out of billions? That's better than ISIS, but we need more to speak up/out.

As for the false rumors, these people are haters. Nothing you can do can shut them up. Just look at Trump.

And those very people burned a news paper office in Mumbai for publishing a cartoon with ISIS flag.

Apparently ISIS flag has something written on in it hence becomes an object of reverence.

I see that Yahoo is part of the agenda. Any discussion related to news stories that portray Muslims in a positive light gets deleted which is why they have removed my previous question of similar nature.
