If I sign out of my Apple ID can I install a completely new one ?

    You can create a new Apple ID but all your existing stuff (apps, purchased music etc.) is associated with the Apple ID used when it was acquired so will not be available for access/updates etc. with the new one.

    If you want, but keep in mind anything purchased under the old can't be transferred to the new

    Yes of course, you will lose all your personalised settings on the laptop though
