What amp do I need?
I have a 2009 GMC Sierra extended cab and I don't want to change the factory non bose CD player. I ordered 4 pioneer speakers to replace the factory ones. The pioneers are rated at 300watts each maxed out. I don't need loud I need clear sound. What do I need to push these speakers?

Peak ratings are meaningless. Just a marketing tool meant to make equipment look much more powerful than it actually is.
It s the RMS power specs that matter.
I m guessing these are the ts-a1675r s or something similar. Those speakers are 50w rms each so a simple 50x4 amp would work great. Power ratings are far from exact so anything in the 40-60w per channel range would work well.
