Yahoo Answers is apparently dying a slow death. Very sad.
I can find no notification about this on the Yahoo Answers site. Instead, it's a frustrating process to discover this situation of the Site dying.
Apparently what's happening now is that any new question lasts for only a day, and is then retired somehow. Only questions either less than a few hours old, or posted before the dying process can be viewed.
I can view my own recent questions by clicking on my name in the upper left corner. If those questions are more than a few hours old, they cannot be seen in the usual way - they are hidden, retired, or something. ????

People have been commenting on this section about the situation: https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/211240-us-answe...
And there is also news from tech news websites like CNET who are openly speculating that Yahoo will axe Answers to save money and please its shareholders as Jan Dawson, a principal analyst at Jackdaw Research, says “Yahoo Answers should also go, because other sites do a better job.”, with everyone wondering if the decision has already been made in some corporate boardroom. http://www.cnet.com/news/what-should-yahoo-get-rid...
A lot of people express the idea that if Yahoo Answers is going to be shut down, that there will be some announcement prior to that. While that would be the decent thing to do, it doesn't mean it will happen that way.
