The first time I was pulled over was when I had my permit. The police officer thought I was flashing my lights at him, however I was trying to turn the car lights on. It turns out that one of the lights was out, but he didn't notice that.
Another time was when I was coming home for work. That day the owner let me go home early and I was driving my dad's car. My dad had been dealing with health issues and my grandmother was in the hospital and so my dad forgot about the car registration. Most of my journey home from work didn't have any issues, but when I was pretty close to home, a police officer was coming from the other direction turned his car around to stop me. When he said "Do you know why I stopped you?" I had no idea why he stopped me, but it turned out that the registration lapsed a few months prior. How the police officer could see the registration when he was going in the opposite direction and the speed limit is 55 miles per hour, I don't know. Anyway, at that time, I didn't have any traffic violations or anything else on my driving record and so I went to court, plead guilty and I was able to get the expired registration violation down to a parking on pavement violation. So, I paid the court $40 and that was the end of that.
One other time, my dad was sick and I was going to the hospital late at night and I was stopped for no reason (I guess the police officer was expecting to see someone pass by at that time).

Sure, used to get pulled over and searched a couple of times a week. Back in the late 1960's I was young, lived in a "progressive" neighborhood, had a beard and drove a foreign car. In the eyes of business people, the police, judges etc I was a suspicious radical. So I was regularly stopped and my car searched.
Later as a civilian I have been stopped 2 times for speeding, once for 3 miles over the limit. Let go both times with a warning.
Got stopped a lot, and sometimes had guns drawn on me while working. That was while I was in plainclothes and using a semi covert car. You tend to flagrantly break a lot of traffic rules when part of a tail team.

I found a Western Flyer used trike here. One of the old ones. I took the daughter for a walk on it me walking here riding it. Yes our local cop stopped us. Looked it all over told her how nice it was. We talked a few minutes. He let us go. Unusual toy here. So he wanted to look it over so if it ended up in the wrong yard. He could return it. Here as every were kids can be kids and toys are toys. Not saying they would steal it but toys can end up in the wrong yard at times.

Yes plenty of times. I've been arrested for assault and talking back to the police. Actually I've been arrested twice. The other time I got arrested was for threatening to kill someone. But I can say my experience in jail was horrible and I never want to go back. That was 3 years ago.
