What tape will stay forever and will not come off if pulled?
Don't tell me duct tape because I tried it and it came right off if pulled. So I don't trust duct tape. Which tape will stay forever and will not come off if pulled?

Such a product is not even THEORETICALLY possible. Tape, by its very nature, MUST be able to be pulled off the roll.

I don't think there is one. No tape lasts forever. How easily it comes off depends what it has been applied to. There are some tapes which, on some surfaces, stay on well enough to remove some of the surface when the tape is pulled off.

Well, George, isn't tape on a roll? If you can pull it off the roll then can't you pull it off something else?
Exactly to what are you referring?
Tape has a certain adhesive quality. That quality can be quantified by surface area times holding power (adhesiveness). A "One Inch length of tape One Inch wide" has ONE square inch X (times) holding power. A "Two Inch length of Two inch wide" piece of tape has FOUR square inches X holding power.
AND there are different ways you can pull on tape. Are you pulling lengthwise, in other words you pull it One piece away from Another" Or are you sheering away (lifting one piece away from another)? Tape has less strength in sheer than it does in tinsel (pulling away) power.
And you ask "FOREVER". Forever? Even tape doesn't last forever. The adhesive can dry out and lose its grip strength. Just what is it you're trying to do? Give us that much information and maybe we can come up with a solution to your problem.

You need Fiber Glass and Epoxy Resin to do what you're asking.
The fiber glass will lay on the project pieces like tape, then you use the epoxy over it. It will attach to the fiber glass and the project. It won't just pull off either.
This is expensive and takes extra effort. Check out videos on youtube for help.
